2. Personal Information Collected by This Website and Why We Collect It

Many other websites, including this one, use Google Analytics to track user information. Google has their own privacy statement for how they collect data by users. Google Analytics is a powerful tool which we use to better understand our visitors. It can track your IP and places a unique ID per each visitor. Its records can show us reports with data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system.

Google Analytics also provides us with data which includes demographics, interests and, most importantly to us, behavior. We use such information to better understand who our visitors are and create or modify our content according to that. In no way do we use user information in a manner that can harm the user. We also do not publish such information online as it is kept confidential to Black Cross Designs.

3. Subscribing to Emails and Use of Contact Forms

When you use our contact forms, an email is sent directly to our servers with the information you include in the form fields. User data sent over contact forms may be stored by Black Cross Designs.

Subscribing to our mailing lists means you agree with our Privacy Policy. We use MailChimp as a third-party subscription-based email marketing service. MailChimp has their own privacy statement for how they collect data by users. Email addresses submitted over subscriptions are stored by MailChimp’s own servers. We are not responsible for data processed by MailChimp. Email addresses will remain in MailChimp’s database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp as a service for email marketing or until you request your removal from this list. You can completely remove your data by either unsubscribing using the unsubscribe links contained in any email marketing that we sent youm, or by requesting removal directly to us via email at [email protected], with the email address you used to subscribe to our mailing list.

4. Data Breaches

We do our best to keep our website secure but in case of data breaches, or in case of other unlawful breaches, of any of our server’s data or third party data processors, we will report to you via email within 72 hours of the breach.
